The 2011 NextBolt NX5 High Security edition is the highest security biometric deadbolt lock available from...
The impact alarm is triggered by a button mounted on the outside piece of the lock. If the outside piece is not firmly attached to the door OR the cable connecting the two halves of the lock us upside down (black mark not facing UP) the impact alarm can trigger.
This can be caused by a warped door due to moisture, seasonal temperatures or settling of the lock into the wood over time. The solution is to tighten the lock to the door and insure the impact alarm button is pressed firmly against the door. Do not over-tighten the lock, tighten it in small increments to see if the issue is resolved. Over-tightening can push the tailpiece against the cylinder stop too hard and make the lock difficult to open.

The portion on the impact alarm applies to *any model Nextbolt lock and appear at 5:45 minutes and 14:02 minutes into the video respectively. (if you want to fast forward to it).
