Questions for NextBolt NX3-ORB EZ-Mount

The NextBolt is the latest lock designed by Actuator Systems. Many improvements in materials, production, design and firmware are present in the NextBolt series. The BD1 Series has been discontinued since 2010 and is directly replaced by the NextBolt series (which are drop-in replacements).

Some NextBolt's new features include (ALL Models):
1. Users can be added or deleted individually rather than only the last user (or all the users)
2. Fast enrollment mode for small business allows quick enrollment of many users
3. Administrator can reset all users without removing the lock from the door.
4. Locks store 100 users rather than 30 users.
5. Matching time on the locks is significantly reduced and accuracy significantly increased.
6. New technology high resolution optical sensor is included that can read very difficult to read fingerprints.
7. New UV resistant coatings are present on the metal surfaces.

NX3 Only:
1. The NextBolt NX3 does not require any drilling during installation.
2. A new 'fixing plate' allows mounting of the outside portion of the lock before the inside portion is installed. This allows very easy insertion of the tailpiece (and makes it easier for a single person to install the lock).
3. Waterproof gasket included for both inside and outside portions of the lock.
